Austin Food + Wine Festival
Auditorium Shores and Republic Square Park
Pamper your palate in one of the hippest cities in the country at the Austin Food + Wine Festival. Eeyore's Annual Birthday Party
Live music, local beer, food, acrobats and costume contests surround this annual gathering of Austin's most eclectic locals. Eeyore's Birthday serves as fundraiser to benefit many local non-profits.
Austin International Poetry Festival
Poets from around the world, country and all of Texas gather for four days of live performances, readings and workshops during the Austin International Poetry Festival in April of every year. AIPF provides an inclusive, diverse, multi-generational environment welcoming the broadest possible audience of poets and non-poets alike in appreciation of the spoken and written word.
Congress Avenue to Auditorium Shores
Texas' largest 10K race and one of the nation's top runs draws some 18,000 serious and not-so-serious runners.
Old Settler's Music Festival
Central Texas' signature music event featuring Grammy-winning Americana, arts and crafts, camping, food and libations. Acoustic jazz, blues and bluegrass are all performed by old-time local favorites and award-winning artists from around the world.
Art City Austin Festival

AutoNation INDYCAR Challenge
Circuit of The Americas
North America’s premier open-wheel racing championship makes its way to COTA for the INDYCAR Challenge. This event offers the opportunity to see some of the greatest drivers in the world up close, as well as adding the essential Austin touch of live music.
Fusebox is a hybrid arts festival that champions adventurous works of art in theater, dance, film, music, literature, visual and culinary arts. The festival takes place over 5 days in venues and locations all over the city. Hundreds of local, national and international artists across all disciplines converge for one of the most unique cultural events in the country.
Austin Reggae Fest
A fundraiser for the Capital Area Food Bank, Reggae Fest features three days of reggae, world and dub talent, along with more than 50 vendors selling food and arts & crafts.
Weird Homes Tour
This wacky annual event showcases what "Keep Austin Weird" is all about. Tour a selection of the most creative homes around town and meet the homeowners who keep our wacky culture thriving.
Life Time Tri CapTex
Lady Bird Lake, Downtown Austin
The Life Time triathlon attracts all levels of athletes from top ranked professionals to first-time triathletes. The event includes the USA Paratriathlon National Championship, sprint and international distances, First Tri distance and sprint and international distance relays.

Latino Music Month
The many Latino music genres are showcased during performances on the Plaza at Austin City Hall each Friday at noon. Other special events throughout the month are presented as well.
The Rookie Tri
Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park
For true rookie triathletes and veterans alike. The Rookie Triathlon course is a 300 meter swim, 11.2 mile bike and 2 mile run. And don't miss the finish line party complete with food and drink (including beer!) needed to re-fuel.
Blues on the Green
Pack a blanket and the family and make your way to Zilker Park for this summertime tradition. Held monthly from May to August, Austin's largest free concert series will welcome performances by top local bands.
Pecan Street Spring Arts Festival
East Sixth Street
A free, family event, the Pecan Street Festival is the oldest and largest art festival in Central Texas. Musicians, food vendors, artists and crafts people turn Sixth Street - historically called Pecan Street - into a lively street fair where there is something for people of all ages.
Cine Las Americas International Film Festival
The festival showcases contemporary films and videos from Latin America (North, Central, South America and the Caribbean) and the Iberian Peninsula. Films and videos made by or about Latinos in the U.S. or the rest of the world, as well as films and videos by or about indigenous groups of the Americas are also invited to participate.
West Austin Studio Tour
Across West Austin
The West Austin Studio Tour is a free, self-guided tour that celebrates Austin's talented and wildly diverse creative community. The public is invited to discover new artistic talent, see working studios, learn about artists' tools, techniques and inspirations, explore galleries and a variety of exhibitions, and immerse themselves in the arts and local business communities.
Circuit of The Americas
One day, traveling festival makes its stop in Austin this May. The festival showcases some of the most sought-after talent in hip-hop music, with performances from Lil TJay, bbno$, Kaash Paige, Delly and more.
Hot Luck Festival
The Hot Luck: Live Food & Music festival returns to honor the soul, sweat and DIY diversity of the food and music world. The festival is an eat-with-your-fingers picnic and party experience that highlights open-pit feats of culinary know how, and music in your ears that is as thoughtfully created as the food on your plate. Come hungry, thirsty, and bring your dancin boots.
